Hi! I am not your ordinary Asian girl clearly because I studied Theater at UCLA. With the love and encouragement from my family and friends, I’ve had the auspicious good fortune to have performed not only in my bathroom (to an audience of one)  but also at Royce Hall, to an audience of 1,800 people.

I grew up watching classic teen shows and films that rarely represented the Asian community and those who looked like me. My mission is to create work that celebrates and excites me while inspiring the Korean and Asian community. Filmmaker Bong Joon-ho and actor Steven Yeun are truly my heroes.

On days when I need to de-stress, I make Korean food for myself, which ends up being eaten by my whole family. I also love to play with my dog, who is socially awkward around other dogs. As her mother, I try not to see it as a result of my parenting skills and hope our recent conversations will eventually open up her shell.
